The Black Parade is a fantastic story, about a cancer patient and his encounters with death. Most people who listen to Album, will listen to them on shuffle or in order. However it’s theorized that the songs are out of order. And if you put them in order, the songs will be call and response from the Patient, and Death himself.
The patient is seen as regretful and depressed through out the record. He reflects on his life, and the things he could of done better or differently. Death however is callus, cruel, and uncaring. Literally interrupting the patient in the song “Dead!”. But as the Record moves on to the later songs, Death begins to feel pity for the patient.
The songs themselves are beautifully written and every single one of them is amazing to listen to. My personal favorite is the song Cancer. It is about the Patient’s struggle with being in the hospital in his final days as people come to visit him
